There are many ways to be part of life at The Viking Farm, whether through hands-on work, supporting our animals, or helping the farmstead grow into the future. Here are four different ways that you can pitch in and become a real part of an endeavor that pays homage to the past. 

Join Our Online Member's Community 

Step into our members-only Facebook group—a welcoming gathering place for people who share a love of Viking life and history, regenerative farming, and meaningful, family-friendly experiences. Members get early access to news and updates, along with a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the farm.

From naming animals and new structures to early access to tickets, special perks, occasional gifts, and VIP experiences, your voice truly matters here. If you’re looking for a place to connect, contribute, and grow alongside this endeavor, this is where your involvement begins.

Lend a Hand — Work Days

We regularly host work days where community members are invited to help care for the land, animals, and infrastructure. As a living, working Viking Age farm, many of these days are instructional as well as productive.

Depending on the season and current needs, activities may include:

• Building wattle fences

• Maintaining and expanding walking trails

• Tending gardens and food plots

• General farm and site upkeep

These days are a great way to learn traditional skills while directly contributing to the farm’s continued health and growth. You’ll feel more connected to the land, the farm, and the community of others working with you. You can see what is scheduled by checking here.
 

Support the Animals

Those who wish to help care for the animals can do so through our BuyMeACoffee.com page. Contributions go directly toward:

• Feed and bedding

• Treats and enrichment

• Veterinary care

• Animal housing and infrastructure

Supporters may also adopt a specific animal, receiving merchandise featuring their adopted critter as a thank-you for helping keep the herd healthy and happy.
 

Help Us Grow — Expansion & Major Gifts

Larger donations and gifts-in-kind help us move forward with expansion and long-term projects that enhance the experience for everyone who visits The Viking Farm. These gifts allow us to build faster, dream bigger, and create deeper immersion.

Significant contributions are often recognized through naming opportunities and other forms of appreciation, honoring the role donors play in shaping the future of the farm.
