Our Journey
Who We Are
Founded in 2020 by Yarema and Rebekah Bückolz, Clan Rúnda creates and shares Viking-inspired art, wearables, and furnishings. Our work is largely handmade by our immediate and extended family, carrying forward traditions of craftsmanship and care. In 2025, we began work on The Viking Farm—a 155-acre working Viking Age farm dedicated to remembering and carrying forward the values, skills, and ways of life of long ago.
What We Do
We specialize in carved wood art, including shields, tents, and furnishings, as well as historical textiles, handmade silver jewelry, tools, games, and more. All of this work is created and shared within an authentic Viking Age working farmstead. Through our art, cultural gatherings, and hands-on classes, we offer families a rich, immersive way to experience Viking history through making, learning, and living it together.
Our Commitment
“Crafted by hand. Lived by experience.”
Rooted in traditional materials and driven by love of history, we handcraft heirloom-quality Viking-inspired wood art and furnishings as well as cultivate a working Viking Age farm where people can learn, reconnect with a time long past, and have a real Viking experience. Our mission is to merge art and life into a deeply immersive experience that inspires wonder, sparks excitement, and becomes a memory people revisit again and again.
